Setting up MathLive as a helper application The Mime type for MathLive ASCII mesh files (extension .ams) has been set to application with sub type x-mathlive. If you are using Netscape the following images and description should get you on your way. The images are quite large (14k, 3k, 15k), so here's a text description first :- Select Options/General Preferences. Select Helpers. Click on the button Create New Type... In the first box of the dialog, called 'Mime Type', type application. In the second called 'Mime SubType', type x-mathlive and click OK. Click on the Browse... button and select MathLive.exe. Click on OK. That's all there is to it !
